Clinacin for dogs and cats – oral solution (22ml)

Product Description

Cats:
sensitive clindamycin Staphylococcus spp. and Streptococcus spp. wound infections, abscesses caused by the treatment.
Dogs:

Wound infections, abscesses, and oral / dental infections caused by susceptible clindamycin Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Bacteroides spp., Fusobacterium necrophorum, Clostridium perfringens treatment.
Additional mechanical treatment and surgical periodontal therapy in case of gum and periodontal tissue infections
Treatment of osteomyelitis caused by Staphylococcus aureus.

Dosage:
Oral.
To avoid underdosing and accurate dosing the weight of the treated animals is measured.
Recommended dosage:

Cats:
– If an infected wounds, abscesses Clindamycin 11 mg / kg body weight per day or a dose of 5.5 mg / kg of body weight every 12 hours in 7 – over 10 days.
Treatment should be stopped if no therapeutic effect is observed within four days.

Dogs:

If an infected wounds, abscesses, and oral / dental infections clindamycin, 11 mg / kg body weight per day or a dose of 5.5 mg / kg of body weight every 12 hours in 7 – over 10 days.
Treatment should be stopped if no therapeutic effect is observed within four days.
It should be used every 12 hours for at least 28 days Clindamycin 11 mg / kg body weight for the treatment of bone infections (osteomyelitis). Treatment should be discontinued. if no improvement is observed within 14 days of therapy.
